LANDSCAPE COMMENTS

You have my best wishes for the gallery showing of the collection of
paintings. I had no idea of the analyses you could do for a series of
copied paintings. What makes the collection interesting to me is the
fact that the image tied people together over a 70 plus year period. It
must generate a feeling of continuity to the painters, if not to the
viewers.

Have a lot of fun with this, Vera. With affection from your cousin...

This is a representational painting of an ideal place. The subject has been carefully chosen. It is not a common place but a special place where memories of the author might be related to... This leads me to question whether this is an existing place or altered to fit the picturesque.

Breath from my grandmother's house. White tapestry sofa, the smell of her perfume, pink lipstick, my first ballet shoes on the wall and landscape paintings on the wall. Thanks for respecting the memory of her that has been lost for awhile in her degeneration. (alzheimers)

As they say in London, "Mind the Gap." What good minding this is. Thanks.

It is moving into the new paradigm shift! -- community and art as participation in the human condition.
